Training Information » Great Start to Quality Orientation Training
Great Start to Quality Orientation Training is the basic training requirement for Unlicensed Aide and Relative Providers who receive DHS reimbursement for child care services. The six-hour Great Start to Quality Orientation is a free interactive training covering the following topics:Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification course, nutrition, health and safety, Shaken Baby Syndrome and Safe Sleep Practices. All providers who attend will receive a binder with training materials and information about additional resources.
Trainings are typically offered once each month in Traverse City, Cadillac and Petoskey.
